ImPACT: A cutting-edge tool for diagnosing concussions
Used in the United States for over 25 years, the ImPACT Baseline test is designed to objectively measure brain cognitive functions. These quantitative performance data are essential for tracking progress and determining appropriate treatments. ImPACT is a unique tool in concussion management, and Physiobalance is proud to be the first clinic in Quebec to have obtained the CIC (Credentialed ImPACT Consultant) license. The effectiveness of ImPACT has been scientifically proven, and it is the first tool in its category to be recognized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
What does the ImPACT Baseline test consist of?
“Designed for individuals aged 12 to 80, the ImPACT Baseline test consists of a series of engaging activities that measure reaction time, memory, and processing speed. The results provide healthcare professionals with an accurate picture of a patient’s brain function status. Only qualified healthcare professionals are authorized to access ImPACT and interpret its results.
Visual training with Dynavision
To promote the rehabilitation of patients with concussions, our multidisciplinary team offers visual training with Dynavision D2TM. This training helps improve neurological connections between the brain and body, as well as brain functions. Research has shown that Dynavision D2TM is effective in treating visual, cognitive, and physical impairments resulting from brain injuries.
