ImPACT: a cutting-edge tool for diagnosing concussions
Used in the United States for over 25 years, the ImPACT Baseline test provides an objective measure of the brain's cognitive functions. This quantitative performance data is essential for monitoring progress and determining appropriate treatments.
ImPACT is a unique tool for concussion management, and Physiobalance is proud to be the first clinic in Quebec to have obtained the CIC (credentialed ImPACT consultant) license.
The effectiveness of ImPACT has been scientifically proven, and it is the first medical tool of its kind to be recognized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
What is the ImPACT Baseline test?
Designed for people aged 12 to 80, the ImPACT Baseline test features a series of fun activities that measure reaction time, memory and information processing speed. The results give healthcare professionals an accurate picture of the state of a patient's brain function. Only qualified healthcare professionals can access ImPACT and interpret its results.
