The multidisciplinary team at Physiobalance offers customized treatments to patients compensated by CNESST, SAAQ, and IVAC for various injuries, including sprains, fractures, back pain, neck pain, and tendinitis.

Treatments are free upon presentation of a medical prescription.

What documents should you bring to Physiobalance?

Your worker’s compensation claim, your SAAQ claim number, or your IVAC benefits application form, as applicable;

The doctor’s prescription indicating the need for physiotherapy, occupational therapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, or other treatments.

Specific treatment procedures for CNESST cases

Physiotherapy
Unless otherwise indicated, you may begin your physiotherapy treatments without delay. Your first visit will include an initial assessment followed by treatment.
Occupational therapy
A 6-week waiting period from the date of the accident is required before beginning occupational therapy treatments, except in the following cases:
Acupuncture treatment
We must submit a treatment request to the CNESST before beginning acupuncture sessions.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy must be performed by an osteopath who is also a physiotherapist. At Physiobalance, we are able to provide this service.

Expert in traumatic brain injuries

Physiobalance has extensive expertise in managing head trauma and can administer the ImPACT test to assess cognitive abilities. Patients with mild traumatic brain injuries receive support through physiotherapy, osteopathy, and occupational therapy, as needed. All treatment costs are covered by CNESST, SAAQ, and IVAC.
