What is massage therapy?
Massage therapy is an ancient form of treatment involving the application of a series of techniques and hand movements to different parts of the body, designed to improve well-being.
Our specialty is traditional Thai massage. Thai massage theory is based on the concept of energy lines linked to the body. If these energy lines are blocked, this manifests itself as a health problem, such as stress, high blood pressure or fever. When the body is unwell, the mind is weakened too. To heal the body, traditional Thai massage releases blocked energy lines by applying pressure with the thumbs, restoring the circulation of energy.
Our massage therapists
Members of the Fédération québécoise des massothérapeutes agréés, Physiobalance's massage therapists offer therapeutic massages to help our patients regain their health. Among other things, this therapy acts on the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
After assessing your overall state of health and your goals, the massage therapist will give you the care you need.
