What is massage therapy?

Massage therapy is a very old form of treatment that consists of applying a set of techniques and hand movements on different parts of the body to improve the well-being of people.

Our specialty is traditional Thai massage. The theory of Thai massage is based on the concept of energy lines connected to the body. If these energy lines are blocked, it manifests as a health problem, such as stress, high blood pressure or fever. When the body is not well, the mind is also weakened. To heal the body, traditional Thai massage releases the blocked energy lines by applying pressure with the thumbs to restore the flow of energy

Our massage therapists

Members of the Fédération québécoise des massothérapeutes agréés, Physiobalance's massage therapists offer therapeutic massages to help our patients regain their health. This therapy acts on the skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments.

After taking note of your overall health and your goals, the massage therapist will provide you with the care that corresponds to your needs.
